American Sewing Girls - ages 10 & up ( Starts In Jan '09)
$120 - 6 Week Session - 1 1/2 hour class (9 hours of sewing)
Tuesday 5:00 - 6:30PM

This is a special kids class for students wanting to learn to sew by making only American Girl items! Students sew clothing (dresses, pants, robes, aprons), accessories (sleeping bag, quilts, totes, backpack, hair bling). Each Sewing Session will have a 'sewing theme'. And each student will recieve an A.G. gift to go along with the sewing theme!

Sewing Sessions meet once a week and are 1 1/2 hours long. Each student starts out making a basic project from Skill Level 1. From there, students choose the project they wish to work on and progress at their own pace. They advance through the Skill Levels while learning how to read guide sheets and patterns, learning about the different fabrics and grain lines. And ~ proper sewing and pressing techiques are taughted in every class.
Complete kits and particial kits are available for most projects. Patterns and directions are provided for every project. There are over 50 projects to choose from. And ~ students never have homework!

Our classes are kept small so everyone receives the attention and help they need!  We feel this is one of the most important things when learning how to sew.  Since classes are small they do fill fast. And classes fill on a first come first served basis. We can not reserve a spot for you without payment.
