SUMMER CAMP 2008

FOR AGES 8 - 16

Summer Camp is a series of one week sessions. There are 6 sessions in all!
Sew In Style summer camp classes are true sewing classes!  Whether a beginner or more experienced, kids will learn the proper sewing techniques to complete each project and develop many new sewing skills!

Week 1      June 9 – 13 ~ Lots of Purse-onality!  
10-12pm (FULL) or 1-3pm (FULL)

Add some Purse-onality to your next outfit! 4 different purses and 5 days of sewing!  Campers are going to be amazed at what they will create!  Awesome fabric, unusual handles, pockets, zippers ~ so much fun!  We have beautiful, new fabric.  Choose funky, retro, sweet, animal print – whatever fits your style! 

Week 2      June 30 – July4 ~ All American Girls 
10-12pm (FULL)

Bring your American Girl Doll and make them the perfect 4th of July outfit!  A skirt, top, vest and bandana for her hair and a picnic basket completes the outfit!   Make more than just one, too.  All new doll patterns!

Week 3      July 7 - 11 ~ Pillow Craze      10-12pm(FULL) or

1-3pm (FULL)

A new and Fun pillow everyday of camp!  We’re going to make that famous Lip Pillow, an appliqué heart of many colors, a pillow to hold your special pictures, a chenille flower pillow and a Wowie Zowie pillow of your favorite fabrics! (Boy-friendly class)

Week 4      July 14 – 18 ~ Wild Animal Days
10-12pm (FULL)

Wild fabric is fun to use, especially when you’re making frogs, lizards and rabbits!  Big ones and Little ones!  These crazy creatures will definitely look forward to sharing a spot on your bed.  (Boy-friendly class)

 

Week 5      July 21 – 25 ~ Bee My Honey Quilt
10-12pm (FULL)

Kids and quilts – they just go together!  And this quilt is so adorable!  It’s a beautiful flower appliqué quilt with a funny little bee buzzing around.  (Boy-friendly class)

Week 6      Aug 4 – 8 ~ Glam Accessories      
10-12pm(FULL)  or

1-3pm (FULL)
  
Everything you need, right at your fingertips!  A Cell Phone(or MP3 player or iPod) Holder, Wallet, Glam Bag, and Sunglasses holder.  This is definitely a girly class!  Glitzy, fun accessories for you to use everyday.  

Please note that some classes have 2 different times available, mornings or afternoons.

We require advanced registration for classes, not only to insure your space in the class but also to make sure there is a class!

Cost for each week is $105.00. 
ALL SUPPLIES ARE INCLUDED!
Just bring your Sewing Kit if you have one - if not we'll share!
